Mr Eric Lim is the Chief Sustainability Officer at UOB. He leads a dedicated corporate sustainability office that is focused on achieving the Bank's sustainability objectives of helping businesses to advance responsibly, steering consumer wealth to sustainable investments and fostering social inclusiveness and environmental well-being.
Concurrently, Eric is also the Head of Group Finance, where he is responsible for the Bank’s core finance functions spanning financial strategy, capital management, regulatory and financial reporting, tax management, business finance and performance management.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the Nanyang Technological University and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Mr Johnson Poh has been a Data Scientist with experience spanning across the finance, consulting and government sectors for the past decade. His present and past professional appointments include being Executive Director and Head Enterprise Artificial Intelligence for UOB Group, Head Data Science/Practice Lead at DBS Bank, Chief Data Scientist, ASEAN at Booz Allen Hamilton as well as Principal Data Scientist at Ministry of Defence, Singapore respectively.
Johnson also serves as an Adjunct Faculty at Singapore Management University (SMU) where his focus areas include applied machine learning as well as big data tools and techniques. He completed his bachelor’s degree at University of California, Berkeley, majoring in the subjects of Pure Mathematics, Statistics and Economics. He received his postgraduate degree in Statistics at Yale University.

Adrian Ong is the Group Head of Cash Management Sales under Group Transaction Banking in UOB. In his past eight years with the bank, Adrian has successfully built a strong client-centred sales platform across all UOB core markets in the region. Adrian drives the sales strategy and works in close partnership with our product organisation to build and deliver innovative and market leading solutions that help our clients operate more effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Adrian has more than 25 years of banking experience, having led various sales teams in his previous institutions. Prior to joining UOB, Adrian was concurrent Singapore Head of Transaction Banking and APAC Regional Sales Head for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) from 2011 to 2014. He also spent more than 10 years at J.P. Morgan, leading the Multinational Corporate Cash Management Sales team. Mr Kevin Lam is the Head of TMRW and Group Digital Banking at UOB. He leads the strategy for the Bank’s overall Digital Banking initiatives and oversees the roll-out of TMRW, UOB’s digital bank for ASEAN’s digital generation, in its key markets across the region. TMRW launched in its first market, Thailand, in March 2019, and subsequently in Indonesia in August 2020.
Kevin has been with UOB since 2005 and served in various senior positions including Managing Director and Head of Personal Financial Services in UOB Malaysia from 2011 to 2013 and Deputy CEO of UOB Malaysia from 2013 to 2015. He was most recently the President Director of UOB Indonesia in 2015 until September 2020, when he took on his current role.
Kevin had worked for several large international foreign banks and technology companies in Singapore, USA, and Hong Kong for more than a decade before joining UOB Group. In his 25 years of experience in the banking industry, he has held a range of positions in the areas of strategic planning, business management, product development, sales and distribution, technology and banking infrastructure development and other areas of corporate services.

Melissa has also spent a decade in the NGO sector in the education and healthcare sectors in Canada and Asia in both program implementation and organizational leadership roles.
Melissa is a member of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Medical Foundation, a charity focused on improving healthcare for newborn babies in rural China. Mr Thio Boon Kiat has almost 30 years of investment management experience. He has served as the Group CEO of UOBAM since 2011 from his previous appointment as Chief Investment Officer. Under his leadership, UOBAM has established itself as a leading regional player in the asset management industry with a presence in 9 markets in Asia. UOBAM has also received wide industry recognition winning nearly 300 top awards from prestigious organisations such as Morningstar, Refinitive and Asian Investor.
Notably, UOBAM was awarded Asia Fund House of the Year from AsianInvestor in 2021 for a third consecutive year. This award is granted to the best fund house which excels in business strategy, execution, investment performance, asset gathering, and innovation.
In recognition of his contributions to the industry, Boon Kiat was recognised as one of the 25 Leaders in fund management in Asia in the past 25 years by Asia Asset Management in 2021 while also receiving the “Lifetime Achievement Award” by AAM in 2020. He was previously recognised as CEO of the Year in Asia in 2014 and 2015. He was also conferred the “IBF Fellow” title by the Institute of Banking and Finance in 2015.
Beyond UOBAM, Boon Kiat has also served as Treasurer from 2013 to 2019 at the Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS) and was a member of its EXCO from 2006 to 2019.
A passionate advocate of digitalisation, Boon Kiat spearheaded UOBAM's digital transformation, driving the adoption of emerging technology and digital infrastructure positioning UOBAM as a digital leader in asset management. His belief of an optimal balance between human and machine in asset management; that AI should be more “augmented intelligence” rather than “artificial intelligence” has borne tangible results like UOBAM Invest, Singapore’s first robo-advisory app by an established asset manager, in 2020, and the first corporate robo-advisory platform in Singapore in 2018. UOBAM Invest has raised over S$1billion from corporate clients in Asia.
A firm believer in “Investing for Purpose and Profit”, Boon Kiat has championed the cause for sustainable investing and led UOBAM to be one of the first regional asset managers in Singapore to sign the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI) in 2020. This is on top of also being a signatory to the Singapore Stewardship Principles for Responsible Investors, underlining the firm’s commitment to sustainability.

Ms Melissa Moi is the Head of Sustainable Business in the Corporate Sustainability Office at UOB. In her role, she supports the delivery of a sustainable business strategy across UOB’s footprint including the management and mitigation of ESG risk, development of sustainable business strategies and frameworks, supporting sustainable product innovation, and driving the bank’s leadership in sustainable finance.
Prior to joining UOB, Melissa spent a decade at Bank of America where she led the firm’s ESG efforts in Asia Pacific. Her role included client facing advisory on sustainability, driving a sustainable finance strategy in the region as well as the implementation of corporate ESG initiatives across risk, social investment and environmental footprint.
Melissa has also spent a decade in the NGO sector in the education and healthcare sectors in Canada and Asia in both program implementation and organizational leadership roles.
Melissa is a member of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Medical Foundation, a charity focused on improving healthcare for newborn babies in rural China. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa.

Mr Richard Lowe is the Group Chief Data Officer and Managing Director of Data Management Office in UOB. His responsibilities include leading the data and advanced analytics vision, strategy and transformation for the UOB group and its entities. Prior to joining UOB, Richard spent most career in Australia building and leading data and business analytics capabilities in both Financial Services and Telecommunications Sectors.

Ms Lyselle Tan is a member of Blockchain and Digital Asset team that serve as a Centre of Excellence on matters relating to Blockchain, Digital Assets and related technologies. Lyselle leads the Central Bank Digital Currency pillar which aims to work and collaborate with regional central banks across Asia and ASEAN and to help bring central bank led CBDC innovations to the region and our clients.
Prior to joining the team, Lyselle implemented transformational financial supply chain management capabilities on UOB's digital banking platform for business which enables clients to digitalise their supply chain trade documents submission and financing at different stages of the supply chain.
Lyselle had also worked in fintechs and banks in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand focusing on Transformation Program Management and Transaction Banking. Lyselle is also practitioner of Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment cognitive intervention program that aims at enhancing individual's learning attitude, intrinsic motivation, cognitive efficiency, concept formation and insightful reasoning.

Mr Eric Lim is the Chief Sustainability Officer at UOB. He leads a dedicated corporate sustainability office that is focused on achieving the Bank's sustainability objectives of helping businesses to advance responsibly, steering consumer wealth to sustainable investments and fostering social inclusiveness and environmental well-being.
Concurrently, Eric is also the Head of Group Finance, where he is responsible for the Bank’s core finance functions spanning financial strategy, capital management, regulatory and financial reporting, tax management, business finance and performance management.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the Nanyang Technological University and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Mr Lawrence Loh is the Managing Director and Head of Group Business Banking. He is responsible for UOB Group’s small business segment across it’s South East Asia markets.
In addition to driving growth of the markets under his coverage, he leads the beyond banking initiatives in UOB small business segment that drive strategic partnerships with government institutions and technology companies to help curate SME ecosystems, build SME digital capabilities so SMEs can benefit to operate more efficiently to scale their businesses domestically and regionally.
Lawrence has more than 20 years of banking experience. Before joining UOB, he held several key management roles in a global private and investment bank. He also had operational and leadership responsibilities in product analytics and business development in consumer banking and private banking.
He began his career as a management consultant. He holds Bachelor of Commerce from
the University of Queensland, Australia and is a Fellow – Corporate Banking with The Institute of Banking and Finance.

Speaker:

Mr Kevin Lam is the Head of TMRW and Group Digital Banking at UOB. He leads the strategy for the Bank’s overall Digital Banking initiatives and oversees the roll-out of TMRW, UOB’s digital bank for ASEAN’s digital generation, in its key markets across the region. TMRW launched in its first market, Thailand, in March 2019, and subsequently in Indonesia in August 2020.
Kevin has been with UOB since 2005 and served in various senior positions including Managing Director and Head of Personal Financial Services in UOB Malaysia from 2011 to 2013 and Deputy CEO of UOB Malaysia from 2013 to 2015. He was most recently the President Director of UOB Indonesia in 2015 until September 2020, when he took on his current role.
Kevin had worked for several large international foreign banks and technology companies in Singapore, USA, and Hong Kong for more than a decade before joining UOB Group. In his 25 years of experience in the banking industry, he has held a range of positions in the areas of strategic planning, business management, product development, sales and distribution, technology and banking infrastructure development and other areas of corporate services.
